Shipping
All the Fine Art Prints are wrapped in acid free paper and mailed in a poster tube
via Canada Post from Medicine Hat, Alberta.
$25 for USA and Canada and $55 international via Canada Post. Please allow 2-3 weeks for delivery.
Commissions
Commission Procedure
1. MEETING: A preliminary meeting (or phone consultation) takes place to discuss the size, composition, and setting of the portrait, as well as the personality of the subject(s). Getting to know the subject(s) of the portrait is a key factor in the process of portraiture.
2. PHOTO SESSION: Once a general concept of the portrait has been established, Laara will conduct a photoshoot - either at the client's home, or at a mutually agreed upon location. Client and artist then review the photographs together to ensure that the best image is found. A 20% non-refundable deposit is due at this time and a commission agreement is signed by the client.
3. SECOND MEETING: Near completion of the portrait, a second meeting takes place to check the likeness and discuss any minor changes needed. The remaining balance is due upon the client's approval of the finished portrait.
4. DELIVERY: The client may either pick up the finished portrait or have it shipped to them. (Note: Depending on the medium of the portrait, the artist may opt to hand-deliver the portrait rather than ship it.)

Custom sizes or poses (i.e. half figure or full figure) are certainly possible; and Laara is willing to accommodate the client and their specific portraiture needs. Prices will vary accordingly.
Prices given are for one figure. A 50% discount is given for each additional figure in the same portrait. Detailed backgrounds, pets and some fabrics are additional. A non-refundable deposit of 20% is due at the time of commission, with the balance due upon completion of the portrait.
Prices do not include matting, framing, shipping, or travel expenses; and are subject to change.

Return Instructions
If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return it within 30 Days of receipt and receive a free replacement or a full refund for the price of the product. Shipping charges will not be refunded.
If your order should arrive in less than satisfactory condition, we offer a convenient Photo Return option. Simply take a digital photo of the item and one of the shipping container it arrived in, attach them to an email and send to laara@laaracassells.ca Please include in the body of the email: your order number, the shipping id or item number, a brief description of the reason for the return, and let us know whether you are seeking a replacement or a refund. Your request processes within 72 hours and you will receive an email letting you know your replacement is under production.
To return your item(s) please pack them in the original tube or box. Be sure to specify the reason for the return, and what action you would like us to take: Free Replacement or Refund.
